What to Expect at the Fair

The Hatsune Miku Project Sekai fair will feature a wide variety of attractions, including the sale of exclusive merchandise, interactive exhibits, and themed cafes. Specifically, from August 8 to September 6, 2026, all Animate stores in Japan and their online site will be hosting the fair where you can purchase special items themed around the project.

For every purchase over 1,100 yen (tax included), customers will receive a limited edition foil-pressed illustration card, with a total of 26 different designs available. However, fans should note that they cannot choose the specific design they receive, adding a bit of surprise to each transaction.

Exclusive Shops Around the Globe

As part of this revitalized project, the ONLY SHOP will also be open starting from August 1 through August 31, 2026, at Animate Taipei. Following this, locations such as Animate Hongdae, Animate Shanghai, and multiple other cities across Asia will join in the fun from August 15, 2026, through mid-September.

Not to be missed are international pop-up shops in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and even Los Angeles, all slated to host special events and exclusive merchandise that can’t be found anywhere else. Shoppers in these venues can expect to find drink specials featuring graphic lattes—where characters like Miku are printed on the foam—as well as unique iced cookies. Customers purchasing items at these venues will also receive a postcard featuring one of the 26 designs, ensuring they’ll leave with a memorable keepsake.
