Collaboration Between Sakuragawa City and Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi to Support Parenting Communities

Supporting Parents in Sakuragawa City with Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi

On October 29, 2023, Sakuragawa City and the Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi cooperative signed a partnership agreement aimed at enhancing parenting support in the community. This new agreement builds upon their prior collaboration, initiated in 2012, focused on community safety and child welfare under the "Cooperation Agreement for Monitoring Activities."

The primary focus of this agreement is the joint hosting of baby food classes designed for local parents. Palsystem will provide original food products targeted toward infants for these classes, ensuring safety and nutritional quality. These practical sessions will not only teach parents how to prepare and offer baby food but also create a relaxed environment for parents to interact and share their experiences.

As parents navigate the joys and challenges of raising children, these classes will not only support the physical well-being of children but also provide essential emotional support for parents. They will have opportunities to connect, reducing feelings of isolation and sharing parenting tips within a supportive community.

Palsystem is dedicated to visiting Sakuragawa City weekly to deliver a variety of products. This close connection with the community enables Palsystem to facilitate more than just product delivery; it extends to organizing parenting-related events and sharing valuable resources. This collaboration reinforces the idea that together, through the power of cooperation, we can create a supportive environment for families.

Looking ahead, 2025 has been designated as the International Year of Cooperatives by the United Nations. Palsystem Ibaraki Tochigi is committed to actively disseminating parenting information and collaborating not only with the local government but also with various stakeholders to ensure that every family feels secure while raising their children.
