Exciting New Developments in Persona 5: The Phantom X Ver.4.1 Update

Sega has rolled out the highly anticipated Ver.4.1 update for their mobile and PC game Persona 5: The Phantom X (P5X). This update is packed with thrilling features, including a collaborative event with Persona 3 Reload (P3R) titled “The Path of the Moon: The Artificial Island Shimmering in Moonlight.” Moreover, players can now access a brand new ★5 character, “Yuki Ri,” from P3R.

Collaboration Event: “The Path of the Moon”

In the collaborative event, players will explore the enigmatic realm of “Shadow Time,” a hidden time existing between the days. This leads our P5X phantom thieves to a towering labyrinth known as “Tartarus,” where shadows lurk. Within this event's storyline, our heroes encounter members from P3R’s Special Extracurricular Activities Club, joining forces to battle together.

Players will not only traverse through Tartarus but also revisit familiar places from P3R, such as Polonian Mall. This interweaving of both worlds provides gamers a fresh glimpse into the characters from P5X while also highlighting the emotional journeys of P3R’s beloved characters—definitely a treat for the fans.

Story Synopsis

The protagonist sets off for Port Island after school with Yuki Ri and Ruferl, only to encounter strange phenomena that results in their separation. Wandering into a maze, the protagonist finds themselves confronted by shadows but is saved by a boy named Yuki Ri. Along with her ally, Yukari Takeba, they navigate Tartarus in search of their scattered friends.

While progressing through Tartarus, they discover a “mysterious door,” where the protagonist uncovers Yuki Ri in an unbelievable situation...

Meet the New ★5 Character: Yuki Ri

As part of the new update, Yuki Ri emerges as a ★5 character with superior attack capabilities in a rebellion role and a fire attribute. Players can obtain Yuki through the “PICKUP Phantom Contract,” which offers increased chances of characters appearing. The special ★5 weapon available is the “Silent Smoke of Supplies.”

Yuki Ri holds top-tier attack power, gaining a significant advantage from acquiring Moon points via skills and support to inflict large damage. In addition to offensive skills, she excels in buffing her teammates.

Also, characters from P3R utilize assist skills instead of long-range attacks and can use Teurgis instead of highlights.

Exclusive Outfit for Yuki Ri

Players can purchase the “Butler Outfit: Ri Set” from the in-game shop for a discounted price of 2,880 “Nail Crystals”. This set includes an icon, visiting card design, and frame all themed around the butler aesthetics.

After June 25, the price will increase to 3,200 “Nail Crystals.”

Countdown Campaign Leading Up to Anniversary

As P5X approaches its first anniversary, a countdown campaign will launch. Log in for seven days within the campaign period to earn five “Platinum Tickets” and five “Platinum Milicoins.”

Event Duration: Ends June 4, 2026, at 10:59 AM.

Additionally, daily support from Ruferl during this anniversary will significantly enhance the rewards, providing a total of 1,600 “Nail Crystals” and 2,400 “Feather Coins” over 28 days.

Event Duration: From June 1, 2026, at 5:00 AM to August 1, 2026, at 4:59 AM.

Moreover, an update commemorative gift of 300 “Nail Crystals” will be issued, along with another 300 from the official broadcast. In total, players can gather 600 “Nail Crystals.”

Currently, Persona 3 Reload is available at special discounted prices across the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop. The PS4/PS5 version stands at 50% off until May 27, 2026, with the Nintendo Switch versions getting up to 40% off until May 26, 2026.
