Overview of the 2025 Good Room Net Brand Ranking
Daito Kentaku Co., Ltd., led by CEO Hiroshi Takeuchi, has conducted an extensive brand survey, collecting responses from over 180,000 individuals to unveil the "2025 Good Room Net Municipal Brand Ranking for the Kanto Region." The ranking relies on a calculated "brand deviation value," derived from the positive and negative image rates of municipalities.

Methodology
The survey was conducted by Macromill, Inc., deploying questionnaires to registered monitors via the internet.
Respondent Demographics
The survey targeted respondents from all 47 prefectures across Japan, focusing on 1,890 municipalities. A total of 182,805 individuals aged 20 and older participated:
- - Gender Distribution: Male 55.2%, Female 44.8%
- - Marital Status: Unmarried 38.3%, Married 61.7%
- - Children: No children 42.7%, Have children 57.3%
- - Generational Breakdown: Ages 20s 8.9%, 30s 16.6%, 40s 22.9%, 50s 26.8%, 60s 18.1%, 70s 6.6%
Survey Duration
The survey was conducted from February 21, 2025, to March 10, 2025, aggregating responses from 182,805 participants.
Survey Administration
Daito Kentaku’s Research Institute, led by Fellow Ken Munezaki, oversaw the survey design and analysis, and Macromill managed the distribution and collection of the questionnaires.
Respondent Selection Criteria
Participants were randomly exposed to a selection of municipalities (excluding their own residence) and asked to respond based on six options related to their experiences or perceptions:
1. Lived there
2. Visited but not lived there
3. Positive impression
4. Negative impression
5. Heard of it but have no strong impression
6. Never heard of it
The brand deviation value is computed through the formula: positive image rate minus negative image rate multiplied by awareness rate. The percentage listed for “visited” reflects the total of those who have either lived or visited the municipalities.
