Beyond her financial expertise, Bessant is actively involved in various boards and advisory roles. She currently serves on the board of directors of Zurich Insurance Group and maintains ties with the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where she graduated. Additionally, Bessant held the position of chair at the USA Field Hockey board of directors and led significant community committees in Charlotte, addressing local housing and homelessness strategies.
