Hoymiles Launches Affordable Hi Series for Energy Independence in Europe

Hoymiles Introduces the Hi Series for Energy Independence in Europe

Hoymiles, a leading global provider of intelligent solar energy and storage solutions, has unveiled its Hi Series in Germany. This new range includes the HiFlow and HiFlow Pro microinverters along with the HiBattery AC micro-storage system. These innovative solutions are designed to provide households with safe and affordable plug-and-play options to achieve true energy independence.

As the European solar market shifts from subsidies to self-consumption and energy autonomy, Hoymiles has expanded its product portfolio from advanced microinverters to fully integrated solar power and energy storage solutions. The Hi Series embodies this transition, with competitive pricing that makes solar technology accessible to a broader audience.

Features of the Hi Flow Microinverters

The HiFlow range is backed by over a decade of research and many patents, highlighting its advanced plug-and-play microinverter technology. The HiFlow 800 model is designed specifically for compact photovoltaic systems with two panels, making it ideal for balconies, gardens, or small rooftops. It boasts a peak efficiency rate of up to 97% and can be set up in under a minute using the Hoymiles S-Miles Home app for real-time monitoring and control.

For more complex solar setups, the HiFlow Pro Series offers independent Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) and advanced tracking algorithms, achieving an industry-leading MPPT efficiency of 99.8%. Even under shading or multi-directional panel arrangements, it guarantees near-perfect performance optimization. The Pro Series supports power outputs ranging from 300 watts to 2000 watts, catering to a variety of installation needs.

Dr. Yang Bo, the CEO of Hoymiles, emphasizes that energy transformation should not be exclusive to professionals or premium users. With the HiFlow series, we bring professional solar technology to every household, from balcony systems to complex rooftop installations.

HiBattery AC: A Flexible and Safe Storage Solution

Accompanying the microinverters is the HiBattery AC, which offers a micro-storage solution connected to AC power. Designed with user-friendliness, safety, and flexibility in mind, it uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) automotive cells with over 6000 cycles and a built-in Battery Management System (BMS). The BMS includes 48 levels of safety protection and features advanced built-in fire suppression and pressure relief. Additionally, it provides an industry-leading bidirectional efficiency of 96.5%, 86% round-trip efficiency, and operates quietly at below 17 dB(A).

Unlike traditional all-in-one hybrid systems that may require costly inverter replacements, the HiBattery AC offers a true plug-and-play deployment. Users can simply plug it into a standard outlet, eliminating the need for rewiring and allowing flexible placement throughout the home.

The bidirectional inverter technology also enables time-of-use (TOU) functionality where smart meters are supported. This means it can charge during off-peak energy prices and discharge when prices are highest, thereby reducing costs and maximizing returns. Fully compatible with all inverters on the market, the HiBattery AC achieves its peak potential when paired with Hoymiles' HiFlow/Pro microinverters, allowing for deep integration with power control regulations and zero export capabilities.

HiBattery AC can also run independently, providing a reliable backup power source during outages or serving as a portable energy source for camping and caravanning. As part of Hoymiles’ expanding product ecosystem, it aims to integrate with more micro-inverters in the future, enhancing offerings for balcony solar panels.

Dr. Yang further noted, European households are seeking energy storage solutions that are not only safe and reliable but also incredibly easy to install. With HiBattery AC, we offer just that. Households already using microinverters require no additional wiring or modifications; they simply plug the HiBattery AC into any home socket to instantly access solar energy storage for greater energy independence.

Hoymiles has already equipped over a million balconies across Europe and ranked first globally in microinverter shipments (excluding the U.S. market) in 2024. The Hi Series is more than just a new market entry; it reflects Hoymiles' motto of delivering Open Energy for All, ensuring clean and reliable energy is accessible to every household. Initially debuting in Germany, the series will expand across Europe to accelerate the adoption of clean energy and support a more sustainable future.
