On October 18, commemorated as Frozen Food Day, Ion Savour Co., Ltd., the company behind the French frozen food specialist Picard, announced the results of the 6th Popular Product Election. This special day was chosen for its correlation to the word 'frozen' in Japanese (where 'freeze' is pronounced 'reito' and '10' is 'to'), and it also marks the universal management temperature of -18°C for frozen foods. The results highlight the joy of frozen foods, showcasing the favorite products as voted by both customers and staff.

The election was divided into two categories: the 'Customer Category', where customers cast their votes, and the 'Staff Category', in which the employees participated. This allowed for a diverse representation of preferences and insights into what makes Picard's offerings stand out.

Croissant Emerges Victorious Again

For six consecutive years, the Croissant has secured the number one spot in both the customer and staff categories. Its irresistible buttery aroma wafts from the oven, and the contrasting textures of a crisp exterior and moist interior have captured the hearts of many. This product stands as a classic signature of Picard. Following closely behind are other beloved items including Pain au Chocolat, Potato Galette, Mini Baguette, and French Fries (allumettes), showing that Picard truly enhances the dining experience with its range of versatile bread and potato dishes.

In an addition to the election results, from October 24 to 26, the top two products—Croissant and Pain au Chocolat—will be available at special prices during the Bread Marche event. Additionally, the third-place Potato Galette is featured at the ongoing Potato Festival, running until October 26. This fall, customers can indulge in the taste of France through these celebrated offerings from Picard.
