Omio Partners with Transcor Data Services
Omio, recognized as the leading global booking platform for multimodal transport, has taken a significant step forward in its expansion efforts within the U.S. intercity bus market. In a strategic partnership with Transcor Data Services (TDS), a standout technology provider in ground mobility, Omio is set to broaden its intercity bus coverage substantially. This collaboration promises to enhance the convenience and accessibility of transportation for travelers nationwide.
In this agreement, Omio gains the capability to integrate services from over 20 new travel providers, which comprise 40 bus carriers that offer extensive coverage across the country. Among these carriers is Peter Pan, one of the largest private motorcoach operators in the U.S., noted for its pivotal role in intercity travel. Other notable providers include Baron Bus, Adirondack Trailways, CJ Bus Lines, Coach USA, Fullington, Indian Trails, Express Arrow, Jefferson Lines, and New York Trailways.
The partnership, sealed in June 2025, is expected to become operational in the third quarter of 2025. It will unlock hundreds of additional routes available through the Omio platform, thereby strengthening connectivity for countless travelers in both metropolitan hubs and rural areas. Intercity bus travel in the U.S. is a crucial means of transport, catering to both short and long-distance journeys, and this integration aims to offer affordable and sustainable travel options for the public.
Veronica Diquattro, President B2C and Supply at Omio, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "It is our mission to make transport choices radically simple and empower all travelers with the ability to control and make considered travel decisions. We are excited to partner with Transcor Data Services, through which we will significantly expand our intercity bus coverage." This initiative aligns seamlessly with Omio's broader objective of delivering an impressive multimodal inventory in the United States.
The integration of Transcor Data Services will further bolster Omio’s reach. The partnership represents a continued trend of growth for Omio in the U.S. market, where the platform has operated since 2020. To date, Omio has successfully integrated over 50 airlines and scores of ground transportation partners in its efforts to provide an unparalleled inventory range for consumers.
As of 2025, Omio connects users to more than 2,300 transport providers globally across 45 countries, including regions in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. This collaboration with TDS not only fulfills Omio’s mission to simplify travel logistics but also demonstrates a commitment to modernizing the transport experience, merging various forms of travel such as trains, flights, buses, and ferries into a cohesive platform.
Additionally, the CEO of Transcor Data Services, Terry Cordell, highlighted the importance of collaboration, noting, "At TDS, we believe the most powerful partnerships are built on shared purpose and mutual value creation. Collaborating with Omio allows us to scale our impact across the U.S. by connecting more carriers to more travelers—seamlessly, efficiently, and at scale. This partnership clearly exemplifies the strength of collaboration in reshaping the future of mobility."
Through this partnership with Transcor Data Services, Omio emphasizes its commitment to enhancing intercity travel options for American passengers. With growing demand for sustainable travel solutions, this initiative promises to improve the overall travel experience by increasing the number of available routes and services.
Overall, as Omio continues to innovate and expand, its focus on multimodal transport solutions ensures that travelers receive the best possible service, aligning with modern demands and expectations in the travel sector.
