Support for Healthy Living Through Community Sports
The Sumitomo Life Health Foundation, established 25 years ago, has been implementing the "Sumisei Community Sports Promotion Grant Program" since the fiscal year 2010, celebrating its milestone anniversary. As part of their ongoing efforts, the foundation aims to encourage healthy living in Japan, collaborating with the "CSV Project" initiated by Sumitomo Life. This collaborative approach focuses on initiatives that promote well-being across society and enhance overall health.
The term "community sports" is viewed as activities that allow various individuals in the community to engage, participate, and connect while enjoying sports. The foundation encourages applications from everyone involved in community sports across the nation.
This program is executed with cooperation from the Nonprofit Organization Citizens' Society Creation Fund, ensuring a structured and effective approach.
