EDCare Omaha Expands Its Facility

In a significant move to provide better access to specialized treatment for eating disorders, EDCare Omaha has opened a larger facility located at 366 Regency Parkway, Omaha, NE 68114. This expansion aims to address the growing demand for eating disorder treatment among adults in Nebraska, and represents a crucial investment in improving care for patients and their families.

Eating disorders affect about 30 million Americans, yet only a mere 20% receive the necessary treatment. Alarmingly, approximately 10,200 individuals lose their lives to these disorders each year—equating to one death every 52 minutes. Denisa Larreau Mettler, Program Director at EDCare Omaha, emphasized the importance of this expansion: “As the only provider of adult Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient treatment for eating disorders in Nebraska, we take seriously our responsibility to expand access. This expansion allows us to help more individuals reclaim their health.”
