N.Avenue's Year End Party 2025: A Gathering of Industry Innovators
On December 16, 2025, N.Avenue Inc. hosted its annual Year End Party, dubbed the "Year End Party 2025 CoinDesk JAPAN / N.Avenue club," at a venue in the Minato Ward of Tokyo. The event was attended by approximately 120 professionals from the industry, primarily comprising members of the N.Avenue club.
This gathering wasn't just a celebration; it served as a platform to express gratitude for the past year and to discuss the latest trends in the Web3 and digital asset sectors, along with upcoming forecasts for 2026 and beyond. The event aimed to foster discussions on the future of finance and innovation within Japan's rapidly evolving economic landscape.
Special Session: Stablecoins and Japan's Export Nation 2.0
Before the festivities began, a special session focused on the theme "Stablecoins for Japan's Export Nation 2.0: New Strategies Through IP, Food, and Tourism" took place. Esteemed speakers included Hiroaki Miyata, a professor at Keio University and data scientist; Noritaka Okabe, CEO of JPYC Inc., which issues the yen-backed stablecoin JPYC; and Hideoto Kawasaki, a member of the House of Representatives and Deputy Minister for Digital Affairs. The session was expertly moderated by Comugi, a researcher well-versed in Web3 and new financial realms.
The discussions highlighted how stablecoins could redefine Japan's international trade strategies, particularly in intellectual property, food products, and tourism. These insights showcased the innovative paths Japan is exploring in a global economy increasingly influenced by digital currencies.
A Dynamic Year End Celebration
Following the special session, the main event of the Year End Party commenced, where speakers and participants mingled across various sectors, fostering meaningful connections. Notably, Juichi Kanda, another member of the House of Representatives, and Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama made appearances, drawing attention from attendees.
During her address, Katayama remarked on the advancements in Japan's regulatory landscape concerning cryptocurrencies. She mentioned a significant transition towards an approximately 20% separate taxation system, moving away from the previous maximum of 55% comprehensive taxation, a change aimed at facilitating a more conducive environment for digital assets. "It has taken us a long time to get here, but I believe this is a significant achievement," Katayama stated.
The gathering turned into an invigorating time for all, reflecting on the year's achievements and discussing collaborations and challenges that lay ahead. N.Avenue Inc. reiterated its commitment to fostering a space where industry perspectives intersect, aiming to create new values around the theme of "next-generation finance and economy."
