This groundbreaking deal aims to deliver an impressive 1 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as part of the hybrid Aurora project located in Tarapacá, Chile.

The arrangement involves the provision of Sungrow's advanced PowerTitan 2.0 liquid-cooled Battery Energy Storage System along with their Multi-Voltage (MV) Power Conversion Units. The BESS project is integral to the Aurora initiative, which also includes a 220 MWdc solar power plant. The Aurora project is set to supply electricity primarily to Abastible, a leading energy provider in Chile.
