Farizon SV Nominated for the Esteemed International Van of the Year Award 2026

Farizon SV Shortlisted for International Van of the Year 2026

In a notable recognition of innovation in the automotive industry, the Farizon SV, a fully electric large van, has made it to the shortlist for the prestigious International Van of the Year (IVOTY) award for 2026. This announcement comes just ahead of the final winner being unveiled at the Solutrans trade fair in Lyon, France, on November 19.

A panel of experts from 26 different countries meticulously evaluated numerous new light commercial vehicles introduced globally this year, focusing on factors such as efficiency and safety. This comprehensive review process highlights the growing emphasis on environmentally friendly and safe transport solutions in an ever-evolving market.

Jarlath Sweeney, the president of the IVOTY award, noted, "We are witnessing an exciting period in our industry with new players emerging that develop innovative segments and introduce fresh solutions with zero-emission technologies. The inclusion of these emerging brands alongside established names makes our voting process even more challenging and significant."

Cook Xue, CEO of Farizon Auto International Company, expressed his pride in the nomination, stating, "Four years ago, we set out to create the world's best van. Being shortlisted for the IVOTY award is a testament to the hard work of the hundreds of engineers and manufacturing teammates behind the Farizon SV. We've successfully launched this vehicle in Europe, the Gulf region, and Asia-Pacific in 2025, and winning the IVOTY would be a fantastic way to end the year."

The Farizon SV boasts a range of advanced innovations, including drive-by-wire technology, a unique concealed B-pillar design, and a cell-to-pack battery system. These features collectively deliver market-leading payload capacity. With a maximum payload of 1,465 kg and a cargo space of up to 13m³, the SV raises the bar for capacity and versatility within the global medium and large van sectors.

The single highly specified trim level of the SV comes packed with various premium standard features tailored to market demands. These include an exclusive payload management system, heated seating, a multifunctional heated steering wheel, a heated windscreen, and a 360-degree peripheral view camera system. Additionally, the van is equipped with a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), further enhancing its safety credentials. The SV has achieved a remarkable five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, underscoring its commitment to safety.

The model lineup includes battery options of 49 kWh, 67 kWh, 83 kWh, and variants of 66 kWh and 106 kWh depending on the market. Depending on the model chosen, the vehicle can deliver up to 200 kW (272 HP) and a peak torque of 343 Nm. The SV's impressive WLTP range allows for up to 551 km (342 miles) in urban cycles and around 398 km (247 miles) in combined cycles, with charging capabilities that can go from 20% to 80% in just 36 minutes.
