Jackson Health Foundation Presents Second Annual One Day for Jackson

MIAMI, March 5, 2025 – The Jackson Health Foundation is excited to announce its second annual event, One Day for Jackson, set for April 3, 2025. This day aims to inspire charitable contributions and raise awareness specifically for the Jackson Health System. Coinciding with this event is the inaugural One Day for Jackson Benefit Concert, which will feature hip-hop sensation, Rick Ross, as the headline act.

The concert will take place at loanDepot park in the West Plaza, starting at 6 p.m. on April 3. Attendees can also enjoy performances from renowned DJ Alex Sensation, DJ Irie, and comedian Mario Ramil. Tickets are available for purchase beginning at $75, with all proceeds going directly to benefit Jackson Health System.

In addition to the concert itself, members of the Miami-Dade community will have numerous opportunities to support One Day for Jackson through various pre-event activities and local partnerships. Supporters can buy tickets to special events and shop at participating local restaurants and retailers like Chick-fil-A, Five Guys, Sushi Maki, and Vicky Bakery. Funds raised through these efforts will enable Jackson to deliver cutting-edge medical care and treatment options.

Flavia Llizo, CEO of Jackson Health Foundation, emphasized the importance of community involvement: "By supporting Jackson, you are investing in the health and well-being of our entire community. Your generosity ensures world-class healthcare remains accessible to all residents of Miami-Dade County, regardless of their financial circumstances. Every dollar significantly impacts our ability to transform lives and strengthen our community."

Last year, the inaugural One Day for Jackson raised over $550,000, and this year’s ambitious goal is to reach $1 million. To learn more about how to participate or donate, visit OneDayforJackson.org.
