Qlarant Foundation Celebrates Annual Grantee Event, Honoring $450,000 in Charitable Grants

Qlarant Foundation Celebrates Charitable Efforts

On September 24, 2025, the Qlarant Foundation proudly hosted its annual Grantee Celebration at its headquarters located in Easton, Maryland. This significant event recognized the remarkable contributions of 16 nonprofit organizations that were selected to receive funding in the current year. The foundation passionately seeks to enhance health and human services across communities in states such as Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Texas, and D.C., reflecting its commitment to social improvement.

Since its inception in 2008, the Qlarant Foundation has made a considerable impact, allocating $8.15 million in grants to over 150 organizations. This year, the foundation awarded a total of $450,000, with each grantee receiving up to $50,000 to support their initiatives aimed at resolving pressing community issues.

Leanne Posko, a noted advocate for nonprofit excellence, served as the keynote speaker for the event. Posko emphasized the significance of resilience and collaboration within communities and the profound influence local organizations have on driving transformative change. Her inspiring message resonated with attendees, shedding light on the important work the nonprofits do.

During the ceremony, Danielle Valle Gilchrist from Catchafire highlighted the fruitful partnership between Qlarant and her organization, underlining their collective efforts to equip nonprofits with vital resources to enhance their operational capabilities. "Every one of these organizations is on the front lines of making lives better," stated Amanda Neal, the Executive Director of the Qlarant Foundation. "Our grantees tackle health disparities, housing instability, food insecurity, and much more. Their work is essential and, often, life-altering. We're honored to support their missions and amplify their positive impacts within our communities."

Dr. Lamont Thompson, Chair of the Board, shared his thoughts as well: "The annual gathering to honor our grantees reaffirms our commitment to this important work. Each of these organizations exemplifies how meaningful change originates from grassroots efforts. Their compassion and innovative spirit inspire stronger, healthier communities for all."

The program included profiles of each grantee alongside photos, videos, and detailed descriptions of their initiatives on Qlarant's website. Among those honored were numerous organizations making significant strides in community care, including:
