Torona Japan Launches Exciting New Frozen Food Lineup for Spring 2026

Torona Japan's New Frozen Food Lineup for Spring 2026

Torona Japan, a subsidiary of the Zensho Group, is set to introduce an exciting array of frozen food products starting March 1, 2026. These products will be available at supermarkets nationwide, featuring nine new items and two revamped selections. This spring, food enthusiasts can look forward to enjoying the authentic flavors of Nakau and a variety of innovative dishes.

Authentic Nakau Frozen Meals

Among the new entries, the Nakau brand is proud to introduce a new frozen product—the Nakau Oyakodon Filling (Chicken and Egg Rice Bowl), which comes in a convenient 130g pack (x2). This product captures the essence of Nakau's signature dish, combining domestic chicken and onions stewed in a mildly sweet sauce made from soy sauce, mirin, and sugar, enriched with the umami from bonito and kelp. The dish can be easily prepared by defrosting it in the microwave, transferring it to a dish, adding a whisked egg, and finishing it in the microwave for a delightful homemade meal experience. Don’t forget to prepare your own egg!

Exciting New Pizzas

Besides these delicious fillers, Torona Japan is also launching two new pizzas that reflect their long-standing expertise in pizza crafting. The first is the Mix Pizza (2 Pizza Pack), which offers the perfect texture whether prepped in a toaster or microwave. The crust is designed to maintain that satisfying crunch, topped with a rich blend of tomato ketchup and teriyaki sauce, complemented by four types of cheese, spicy pepperoni, and colorful vegetables, making it a feast for the eyes and the palate.

The second is the Meat Pizza DX, boasting a hearty and chewy dough packed with a variety of meats. Generous toppings include coarsely ground meat sauce, flavorful sausage, and bacon, providing an excellent taste experience. Enhanced with creamy mozzarella and robust red cheddar cheese, this pizza is designed for sharing among family and friends at home, making it reminiscent of delivery pizzas with about 20% more meat than their standard offerings.

New Additions to the Okazu Zanmai Series

The Okazu Zanmai series is also expanding, with five new items hitting the market. These include:

  • - Tatsuta Fried Young Chicken: Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, made from young chicken breast and dusted with potato starch.
  • - Young Chicken Tempura: Infused with garlic and ginger flavors, offering a tender meat experience recommended for toaster preparation.
  • - Nikujaga: A comforting dish made with potatoes, onions, carrots, and vermicelli, perfected with the taste of bonito and kelp.
  • - Spicy Curry Fried Bites: Mini curry bites wrapped and fried, perfect as a side dish or snack.
  • - Mochimaru-kun Cheese Flavor: Potato-based chewy balls filled with rich cheese sauce, blending sweet and savory flavors beautifully.

New Options for Suki-ya Fans

Moreover, the Suki-ya Gyudon Filling (Beef Bowl) is now available in a new package of two 110g servings. Tender beef and onions, stewed in Suki-ya’s secret sauce, ensure a delicious experience when served over rice.

Revamped Classics for Effortless Enjoyment

The Okazu Zanmai series sees two revamped items, now designed for natural thawing: Young Chicken Teriyaki and Young Chicken Saikyo Grilled Chicken. Both dishes retain their savory flavors, now with the added convenience of natural thawing. Expect to see the teriyaki version starting in mid-May 2026 and the Saikyo version from mid-February 2026.

As a manufacturer within the Zensho Group, Torona Japan continues to innovate in the frozen food sector, with an array of products designed to bring comfort and quality to your dining table. Explore these new offerings this spring and make mealtime easier and more enjoyable than ever.
