Watercrest Senior Living Group Commits $30,000 to Veterans
In a commendable initiative honoring veterans, Watercrest Senior Living Group has revealed a scholarship program totaling $30,000, dedicated to the brave individuals who have served the nation. This generous grant aligns with the celebration of America's 250th anniversary, illustrating a commitment to acknowledge the sacrifices made by those in military service.
Starting immediately and running through September 2026, Watercrest will provide eligible veterans with a monthly scholarship towards assisted living accommodations at their Winter Park Assisted Living and Memory Care facility. This program is not only a recognition of service but also a means to support veterans in their transitions to assisted living.
A Statement of Gratitude
Bri Stewart, Vice President of Sales Operations, expressed, "Watercrest is committed to fostering a culture steeped in respect and gratitude, reflecting on the selfless sacrifices of our national heroes. It is a privilege to provide these scholarships and to give back to those who have given so much for our liberty."
The scholarship program stands out, as it offers five designated apartment residences with a monthly rental fee reduction of $500 for one year, benefiting veterans who relocate by the end of September 2026. This initiative showcases Watercrest's dedication to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for veterans, accentuating the leadership team's eagerness to serve this vital community.
