Robert E. White, Jr. Receives 2026 MPL Association Award Honoring Peter Sweetland

The Medical Professional Liability Association (MPL Association) proudly announces that Robert E. White, Jr. has been selected to receive the prestigious 2026 Award of Excellence in Honor of Peter Sweetland. This accolade highlights his exceptional contributions to the MPL insurance sector and his unwavering support for healthcare professionals.
Robert E. White, Jr. holds an impressive 58 years of experience within the insurance industry and currently serves as the President of TDC Group. In this capacity, he oversees three key business units: The Doctors Company (TDC), Healthcare Risk Advisors (HRA), and TDC Specialty Underwriters. Prior to his role at TDC, he managed Claims and Loss Prevention departments for multiple commercial and physician-owned insurance firms. Notably, he was President of Insurance Operations at FPIC Insurance Group from 2002 until its acquisition by TDC in 2011.
White's commitment to the MPL Association spans over many years, during which he has actively participated on various boards and committees, including the Board of Directors and the CEO/COO Section. His advocacy for MPL carriers and expertise in state regulatory matters have been instrumental in shaping the landscape of medical professional liability.
