Esaote Group Unveils Cutting-Edge Innovations at ECR 2026

The European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2026 is set to be a landmark event for medical imaging, especially with the participation of Esaote Group, a major Italian innovator in the field. Scheduled to take place from March 4 to 8, Esaote will demonstrate its latest advancements in ultrasound and MRI technologies. Among the highlights of this event is the introduction of the new MyLab™E85 GTS and MyLab™C30 GTS Edition ultrasound systems, which will officially launch on March 5 at 11:30 AM at the Esaote booth.

Esaote's commitment to improving diagnostic accuracy and enhancing patient outcomes is evident in its focus on ultrasound innovations, particularly in interventional radiology. The new systems are designed to empower radiologists with intuitive tools for every stage of their procedures, ensuring reliability and precision. Marta Daniel, the GTS Product and Clinical Solutions Manager at Esaote, emphasized, “With these new ultrasound machines, our goal is to equip interventional radiologists with the most reliable and intuitive tools to support their procedures.”

The MyLab™E85 GTS boasts advanced imaging technologies that enhance diagnostic accuracy. It offers excellent needle visualization and improved interventional guidance through features such as the Virtual Navigator and an exclusive Ablation Suite. The Virtual Navigator facilitates real-time multi-modal imaging for precise navigation, thereby reinforcing ultrasound as a trustworthy complement to computed tomography-guided interventions. The MyLab™C30 GTS complements these features with exceptional imaging and flexibility in a high-end, compact system that introduces contrast-enhanced imaging modes, shear wave elastography, and attenuation capabilities in a portable unit for the first time.

In addition to ultrasound, Esaote is also presenting significant innovations in MRI technology at this year’s congress. Key products include HyperSpeed, a revolutionary AI module that drastically reduces MRI examination duration while maintaining excellent image quality. Also featured is M-Score, a quantitative software solution that assesses bone health through opportunistic screening during routine lumbar MRI exams. These advancements will be highlighted in a workshop titled “Beyond Images: Driving Clinical Value in MRI through AI Technologies,” to be held on March 6 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, led by Francesco Arrigoni and Federico Bruno from the University of L'Aquila.

Esaote's IT division, Ebit, will also showcase the latest evolution of SUITESTENSA for radiology and enterprise imaging. This new iteration introduces advanced AI-driven workflow orchestration and enhanced structured reporting, fully integrated into daily clinical practice. Built on a cloud-native architecture, the platform seamlessly incorporates AI and quantitative tools into the reporting workflow, providing measurable efficiency gains while ensuring comprehensive clinical control and data governance.

Esaote Group has established itself as a leader in medical imaging, including ultrasound systems, dedicated MRI, and diagnostic process management software. By the end of 2025, the group employed 1,300 professionals, with half of its workforce based in Italy. With facilities in Genoa and Florence, along with its own production and research units in Italy and the Netherlands, Esaote's presence spans over 100 countries worldwide.

Esaote is dedicated to driving innovations that enhance the practice of radiology and improve patient care globally. For more information about Esaote's latest technologies, visit www.esaote.com.
