Omron Achieves JC-STAR Certification for Home Power Storage Systems

In February 2026, Omron Social Solutions Co., Ltd. (OSS), headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo and led by President Katsuhiro Shikata, announced that its multi-storage platform for home power storage systems has received the JC-STAR (Japan Cyber-Security Technical Assessment Requirements) certification from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Information-Technology Promotion Agency (IPA). This certification focuses on compliance with security requirements crucial for monitoring devices used in these residential systems.
