The first part, "Kouyouzan Hiren," draws inspiration from the famous Kabuki dance "Kouyougari," showcasing a passionate love story intertwined with themes of reincarnation. The second part, "Kagurazaka Monogatari," is set in the historic Kaikan district of Kagurazaka, illustrating human sympathy and connections through a musical drama.
