Project Jupiter: A New Era for AI Data Centers



Oracle and BorderPlex Digital Assets recently unveiled an innovative venture known as Project Jupiter, aiming to revolutionize the energy supply for AI data centers in Doña Ana County, New Mexico. This ambitious project will utilize cutting-edge Bloom Energy fuel cells to provide a sustainable, energy-efficient solution for powering the facility.

The AI data center will harness up to 2.45 gigawatts of fuel cell capacity from Bloom Energy, fundamentally transforming its power design by replacing previously planned gas turbines and diesel generators. This modernization will consolidate the entire site into a single microgrid campus, promoting greater energy efficiency.

Construction is currently proceeding on schedule, with an anticipated creation of 4,000 construction jobs and 1,500 sustained positions for local residents upon the project's completion.
