Zoomlion Showcases Green Technologies at Bauma 2025 for Sustainable Industrial Development

Introduction to Bauma 2025

Bauma 2025, one of the world's major trade fairs for construction machinery, took place from April 7 to April 13 in Munich, Germany. This year, the focus was on sustainability and innovation in the construction sector, with numerous companies unveiling their latest technologies.

Zoomlion's Leadership in the Construction Industry

Among the highlights of the fair, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. prominently showcased its commitment to greener development through advanced technology. Known as a global leader in the construction equipment industry, Zoomlion introduced more than 60 flagship products across nine categories at its booth, FS.905, under the theme "Greener Development, Brighter Future." The event marks a significant step towards the digital, intelligent, and environmentally friendly transformation of the industry.

Showcase of Innovations

One standout product from Zoomlion was the ZT72J-V, the tallest straight boom lift in Europe. This elevating platform exemplifies Zoomlion's expertise in creating high-end telescopic boom lifts. Additionally, the company displayed ten new earth-moving machines, many equipped with 5G remote control, AI panoramic monitoring, and energy recovery through electric drive. In the tower crane segment, the R800-40, recognized as the largest tonnage model in Europe from China, garnered significant interest for its safety and efficiency.

The lineup also featured six concrete machines, including a 70-meter pump truck with optimized topology and smart mixers capable of over-the-air updates and intelligent diagnostics. Zoomlion's exhibition encompassed not only equipment but also intelligent systems that merge industrial internet technology with AI, big data, and new energy technologies.

Commitment to Global Cooperation

On opening day, Zoomlion's CEO Zhan Chunxin participated in discussions with clients and institutional representatives, reaffirming the company's dedication to global development and service enhancement. This commitment is evident as Zoomlion aims to establish a worldwide industrial ecosystem that emphasizes end-to-end digitization and localization strategies, directly linking with customers to meet market demands more effectively.

Products Tailored for European Markets

At Bauma 2025, a significant portion of Zoomlion's showcased products was locally manufactured in Europe, aligning with market preferences in terms of performance and technology. The 72-ton and 62-ton folding knuckle boom cranes, assembled in Germany, comply with the EN 12999 standard and have obtained CE certification, ensuring they meet stringent quality benchmarks. Additionally, assistant cranes like the flat-top R800-40, produced in China but assembled in Europe, promise quick delivery and service, enhancing customer satisfaction.

Expansion and Future Directions

Zoomlion's aggressive expansion plans were underscored by the official launch of phase II of its German factory in Waldlaubersheim, further strengthening its global manufacturing footprint. Earlier this year, the opening of the AWP factory in Hungary enhanced the group's industrial capacity across Europe. Currently, Zoomlion operates eleven R&D bases and maintains 210 service centers worldwide, enabling rapid delivery and growth in over 170 countries, supported by a dedicated workforce of 6,300 overseas employees.

Conclusion

The Bauma 2025 exhibition served as a robust platform for fostering collaboration among global industries. As stated by Yuan Ye, Vice President of Zoomlion, the event offered an opportunity to explore innovative developmental pathways using upgraded, smarter, and greener products. With such strategic advancements, Zoomlion is poised to contribute significantly to building a more sustainable future for the construction machinery industry.
