NCSOFT Corporation is thrilled to announce an exciting large-scale update for its next-generation open-world RPG, Lineage 2M, titled "Crimson Battleground: Goddard". Scheduled for October 29, 2025, this update promises to expand the game's universe significantly, introducing new zones and features that players have been eagerly anticipating.

What’s New?

The teaser site for the monumental update went live on October 15, 2025, unveiling details about the new content set to enrich the gameplay experience. For those participating in Origin World, a brand new area named Goddard will be introduced, alongside the much-anticipated Triumph Skill feature. Meanwhile, players in the Reserve World can look forward to an array of freshly revealed updates, including the exciting INTERLUDE coupons.

Players will also be able to reap the rewards of the event titled "Goddard's Crimson Battleground Support Gifts", occurring on the same day. An event-exclusive Goddard's Merit Ring will give players additional incentives to engage in the action. Full details regarding the update will be unveiled on October 22, 2025, building anticipation within the game’s community.

New Additions for the Recent Update

On October 15, 2025, during the regular maintenance, NCSOFT introduced two legendary Agressions: "Maple Autumn Timirilan" and "Acorn Collector", expanding the choices available to players for character enhancements. The Nightmare of Halunark Labyrinth dungeon has also undergone adjustments, increasing the challenge level of monsters while boosting the EXP gain significantly, creating an exciting environment for players looking to push their limits. A new rare accessory, the Labyrinth Necklace, has been added to the loot pool, further incentivizing exploration.

Enhancements to Reserve World Content

Similarly, enhancements have been made to the Reserve World. Rewards for content such as the Invasion of the Cracks and Heathen Catacombs have been improved, providing an enriched experience for players. Additionally, a new character progression system known as Poline has been introduced, allowing players to invest Awakening Points to enhance stats such as Critical Damage, overall damage resistance, and accuracy.

Moreover, the Normal Dungeon “Temple of Dawn” has been added, which is exclusive to characters above level 40 and is available from 10 PM to 8 AM the following day, adding unique gameplay mechanics to explore.
