Enjoy Autumn at Machida Yakushi Ike Park!

From October 11 to November 30, 2025, the beautiful Machida Yakushi Ike Park will host the special event "Autumn Play 2025: Come, See, Experience, and Share Days". Following last year's great success, which welcomed around 35,000 visitors, this year’s event promises even more magic.

Fall Foliage Light-Up

One of the highlights will be the stunning fall foliage light-up, which will take place from November 15 to November 30, every evening from 5 PM to 8 PM. Visitors can enjoy the ethereal beauty as the famous Taiko Bridge is transformed with a mystical sea of clouds. Additionally, new this year, a trellis adorned with LED bulbs will simulate wisteria blooms swaying in the wind, creating an enchanting atmosphere that is perfect for an Instagram post!

Dahlia Fair

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Dahlia Garden, a special "Dahlia Fair" will be held at the garden and the western garden area on October 11 and 12. This event will feature exciting activities such as the annual flower sale and the chance to create original T-shirts adorned with dahlia designs. Come and immerse yourself in the vibrant colors of the blooming dahlias while enjoying these fun activities, which run from 10 AM to 3 PM at the respective venues.

Buckwheat Harvest Experience

Additionally, on November 23, from 9 AM to 11:30 AM, the park will hold a nostalgic Buckwheat Harvest Experience, where participants can use traditional farming tools to harvest buckwheat. This experience is pre-registration only, so interested individuals should contact the Furusato Farming Tools Museum between November 1 and November 16. The fee for adults is 3,000 yen, while children in elementary school and younger can join for free!

Kitchen Car Rally

Don't miss the "Search for Original Menus at Machida Yakushi Ike Park - Kitchen Car Rally!" From October 11 to November 30, various food trucks will stationed at different locations around the park each day, featuring unique dishes. Participants who collect stamps from the food trucks by ordering their original items can join a lucky draw for exciting prizes!
