Humanoid Robotics Industry Matchmaking Event Showcases Innovations at CISCE

Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Event Held at the 3rd CISCE

The recent Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Chain Matchmaking Conference, part of the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), took place in Beijing. The theme for this year's event was "Synergizing Cutting-Edge Innovations, Empowering New Quality Productive Forces." This important gathering attracted over 400 participants, including ambassadors, industry experts, and executives from financial institutions, all eager to explore the evolving landscape of humanoid robotics.

Vice Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Yu Jianlong, emphasized Hubei's strategic location and rich resources in sciences and technology. He pointed out the region’s rapid advancements in humanoid robotics, noting its expansive capabilities in smart manufacturing and research and development of core components. The event featured an impressive humanoid robotics exhibition area with 22 enterprises showcasing over 80 products, including 20 fully-integrated humanoid robots. This highlighted Hubei's status as a significant player in the global robotic industry.

In his address, Yu reaffirmed that the CCPIT aims to strengthen its service network and form global partnerships to bolster Hubei's initiatives toward becoming a recognized leader in humanoid robotics. He emphasized the creation of platforms for international collaboration, enhancing the province's potential in this rapidly evolving sector. Hu Zhonghai, Director of CCPIT Hubei, shared insights into why humanoid robotics is crucial for technological innovation and industrial progression. He detailed Hubei's geographical advantages and its appealing policies for Fortune Global 500 corporations, listing 325 such companies currently operating in the province.

The event also served as an opportunity for organizations to discuss the future of humanoid robotics. Zhao Xingwei, the legal representative of JCBot and a professor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), discussed how JCBot has been able to industrialize its technologies thanks to support from HUST academicians. His company has diversified its applications to serve over 10 industries, including tourism and industrial manufacturing. Zhao committed to further enhancing research and development efforts to promote high-value applications and continuous improvement in the industry.

In a notable product launch segment, Lou Kaiqi, Deputy General Manager of Hubei Optics Valley Dongzhi Embodied Intelligence Technology Co. Ltd., showcased the company’s latest humanoid robot, which is currently deployed in various roles such as exhibition guidance and retail services. The robot is expected to extend its applications to sectors like government services, industrial operations, and elderly care, reflecting the versatility and future potential of humanoid technologies.

During the matchmaking conference, the Hubei Humanoid Robotics Industry Alliance entered into strategic partnerships with three significant organizations: the Zhejiang Robot Industry Association, the Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center, and the Zhongguancun Rongzhi Specialized Robotics Alliance. These agreements aim to foster collaboration in research and development, market expansion, and talent exchange, promoting a cohesive ecosystem in the robotics industry.

This conference not only highlighted Hubei’s emerging leadership in humanoid robotics but also paved the way for future collaborations that could redefine the interaction between humans and robots, ultimately enhancing efficiency and innovation in various sectors.
