The Tormes Solar Project will feature a photovoltaic solar facility with a capacity of 457 megawatts direct current (MWdc). It is strategically located in Navarro County, about two miles southeast of Barry and west of Corsicana. During its construction phase, Tormes Solar is projected to create approximately 450 jobs, which will play a crucial role in enhancing the local workforce.
