Aris Mining Gains Approval for NYSE Uplisting, Symbol Change to ARIS

Aris Mining Gains NYSE Uplisting Approval

Aris Mining Corporation recently announced its successful approval to uplist its common shares from the NYSE American to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). This significant move is set to take effect on February 19, 2026, with the company trading under the ticker symbol "ARIS," which aligns its U.S. trading symbol with that on the Toronto Stock Exchange, where it trades as "ARIS" (TSX: ARIS).

The uplisting signifies Aris Mining's growing presence and ambition in the gold mining sector, especially in South America, where it aims to establish itself as a leading gold producer. The company operates two underground gold mines in Colombia—Segovia and Marmato—which collectively achieved a production output of approximately 257,000 ounces in 2025. The firm's expansion plans anticipate that this figure will rise significantly in the coming years, targeting an impressive goal of 500,000 ounces annually, aided by the commissioning of a second mill at Segovia and the construction of a CIP plant at Marmato with the first gold production expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Neil Woodyer, Aris Mining's Chair and CEO, expressed optimism about the uplisting, emphasizing that trading on the NYSE is expected to enhance the company's visibility among U.S. and global institutional investors. He believes this move reflects the company's growing scale, quality of assets, and its evolving corporate identity. The transition also allows Aris Mining to strengthen its engagement with the global capital markets.

Throughout its relatively short history, established in September 2022, Aris Mining has focused on growth through a blend of current production, cash flow generation, and strategic expansions. The company possesses a development pipeline aimed at achieving production levels of approximately one million ounces of gold annually, which includes significant projects such as the Toroparu gold project in Guyana. Following a preliminary economic assessment in October 2025, the Toroparu project is advancing toward a prefeasibility study, which places it in a favorable position for future development.

Moreover, the Soto Norte project in Colombia has seen a prefeasibility study completed, which underscores the balance between economic viability and industry-leading environmental and social considerations. Environmental studies for this project are progressing well and are scheduled for submission in the second quarter of 2026 to enable the licensing process.

As Aris Mining embarks on this new chapter in its corporate journey, timing the uplisting with a public appearance on the NYSE floor for the closing bell ceremony demonstrates the company's commitment to celebrating its milestones while gearing up for future growth. The management team, including Woodyer, is poised to capitalize on the increased market presence to attract new investors and solidify its operational foundations.

Aris Mining is navigating a promising trajectory in the gold mining landscape with aspirations that extend beyond immediate operational achievements. The company has the potential to alter its output drastically, fostering strong shareholder confidence in the years to come.
