Comments from the Creators
Sculptor: Susuki Togeno
In the creation of this figure, I aimed to retain the original proportions and silhouette, mainly enhancing the detail aspect. It was a challenge to convey Hamon’s skeletal features and sharp claws and spikes in a visually appealing manner. The goal was to craft a figure that embodies Hamon’s dazzling golden allure and deep, mysterious power. I hope that everyone can feel the overwhelming strength of the Three Phantom Gods through this sculpture.
Painter: Otaken
I had the privilege of working on the coloring for Hamon following my work on Uriah. While the gold color can often impart a heroic and dazzling image, Hamon, as a character grounded in darkness, required more attention to darker hues. I employed a color modulation painting method to create shadows that enhance the strength of Hamon, and I used orange and black shades to express deeper colors. Plus, the wings feature a green pearl overlay that changes tones based on the viewing angle, harmonizing the sculpture, paint, and overall volume excellently!
