ITF Gold Status Awarded to Beeline Arena in Astana

The national tennis center, Beeline Arena, located in Astana, Kazakhstan, has received the prestigious Gold Status recognition from the International Tennis Federation (ITF). This accolade marks a significant milestone in Kazakhstan's efforts to enhance its sports infrastructure and improve the athlete development system within the nation.

The ITF Gold Status indicates that Beeline Arena meets the highest international standards in training, management, facilities, and integrity. As a result of this recognition, Kazakhstan joins an elite group of countries, including France, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Canada, and Switzerland, whose national training centers have also been awarded this honor.

The decision to grant Gold Status was based on a comprehensive evaluation conducted by the ITF Commission under the leadership of David Haggerty, the ITF President. Over the past 18 years, Kazakhstan has made significant investments in its tennis infrastructure. A total of 39 tennis centers with 394 hard and clay courts have been established across the country. Throughout this period, private investments have exceeded $200 million, reflecting a strong commitment to improving the sport's facilities.

The ITF Gold Status will remain valid for four years until 2030, during which the Beeline Arena will be entitled to use the official ITF Gold designation. Furthermore, the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) recognized the center with the "National Training Center Integrity Standards Award." Karen Moorhouse, the ITIA Executive Director, highlighted that the center has created a strong governance framework, prioritizing transparency, athlete protection, and the promotion of fair competition.
