The excitement is building as the GSM Association announces that registration is now open for the highly anticipated MWC26 Barcelona, which will take place from March 2 to March 5, 2026, at the iconic Fira de Barcelona on Gran Via. As the largest and most influential connectivity event in the world, MWC26 promises to celebrate two decades of pivotal moments and partnerships in the industry, uniting renowned companies, innovators, and lawmakers to explore technologies that are reshaping digital transformation across various sectors.

The theme for this year’s event, The IQ Era, signifies a new age of intelligence through smarter connectivity. This follows a legacy of 20 years of iconic thought leadership showcased on the stages of MWC. Notable speakers confirmed to join this year's event include Gwynne Shotwell, President and COO of SpaceX, and Michael Nicolls, Head of Engineering at Starlink. Other industry leaders will be revealed closer to the event date.

The Airport of the Future area will showcase how connected technologies are revolutionizing the aviation sector, providing interactive demos from partners like Airbus.

CircuitX, a collaborative effort with GSMA Foundry and the Mobile World Capital Barcelona, will spotlight innovations in smart mobility and immersive fan experiences. Participants will interact with cutting-edge demonstrations and live sessions led by industry authorities, marking the commencement of an exciting multi-year initiative.

The 4YFN program is back for its 11th year with the theme Infinite AI, celebrating the limitless potential of human and machine creativity. Highlights will include the 4YFN26 Awards and a partner program hosted by Amazon Web Services.
