Expansion of Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace
Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace is set to expand its presence in the Northeast with the launch of two new stores in late 2027. One of the most exciting aspects of this development is the store in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, which will be the brand's first outlet in the state. The second location will be established in Moorestown, New Jersey, marking a further step in the company's growth strategy.
The King of Prussia location will be situated at DeKalb Plaza, directly at 320 W. DeKalb Pike. This key milestone attests to Uncle Giuseppe's continued focus on delivering quality and fresh food offerings to more communities. Meanwhile, the Moorestown store will open at East Gate Square, located at 1311 Nixon Drive, allowing the brand to deepen its footprint in Southern New Jersey, catering to local customers who already appreciate Uncle Giuseppe's commitment to freshness and quality.
"King of Prussia and Moorestown are two markets we've been eyeing for some time," said Carl DelPrete, CEO and co-founder of Uncle Giuseppe's Marketplace. He emphasized the careful approach the company takes in selecting new locations based on community needs and demand for high-quality food and services. DelPrete remarked on the significance of these new stores, stating, "Pennsylvania has been part of our growth plans for quite a while, and King of Prussia offers an excellent opportunity for us to introduce our brand to new customers."
The new marketplaces will carry Uncle Giuseppe's distinctive offerings, including fresh mozzarella made on-site, house-made pasta, a full-service meat and seafood counter, an Italian deli, a scratch bakery, and a vast selection of prepared foods. Customers can also look forward to fresh produce, specialty cheeses, a range of imported Italian products, catering services, and a comprehensive selection of traditional grocery items.
A highlight for visitors is the sight of food prepared fresh and openly in the store. Shoppers can observe mozzarella being crafted, breads baking, and meats being cut to order, creating an immersive shopping experience that reflects traditional Italian marketplaces.
Both new locations are anticipated as part of the steady growth trajectory of Uncle Giuseppe’s, following its recently opened marketplace in Greenvale, New York, and the impending location scheduled to open in Levittown, New York, by the end of 2026. DelPrete says, "We’ve always emphasized steady growth that aligns with our values. We are not just opening stores for the sake of it; we prioritize locations that genuinely fit our brand and where we are confident in delivering the same quality and experience our customers expect."
Hiring has commenced for the new locations, encompassing various positions across management, deli, bakery, meat and seafood departments, prepared foods, grocery, and customer service. Enthusiastic candidates are encouraged to explore job opportunities at
