Exclusive Dessert Event on Shodoshima
A unique culinary experience is coming to Shodoshima with the special event titled "Spring Olive and Citrus Gourmet Festival" on April 4 and 5, 2026. Guests are invited to indulge in exclusive desserts created from local ingredients sourced from the renowned Inoue Seikoen farm, under the expert guidance of Chef Fumiaki Kanae, owner of the esteemed patisserie INFINI.
About Inoue Seikoen
Inoue Seikoen, located in the picturesque Kagawa Prefecture, has a rich history dating back to 1940, originally growing citrus fruits and evolving into an olive farm. The farm embodies a legacy that spans four generations, currently managed by Toshihiro Inoue. It not only produces high-quality olive oil for consumption and cosmetics but also boasts a variety of citrus fruits available throughout the year.
Collaboration with Chef Kanae
Chef Fumiaki Kanae has trained at prestigious establishments such as Guy Savoy in Paris, earning a Michelin star, and has made a name for himself in Tokyo at local favorites like Benoit and UN GRAIN. In 2020, he opened INFINI in Kuhoin, captivating elites and food enthusiasts from around the world with his exquisite desserts. His collaboration with Inoue Seikoen stemmed from his quest to explore the richness of local ingredients, notably after discovering the unique scent of domestic bergamot from Kochi.
