DXYZ Introduces FreeiD Facial Recognition Technology to Duo Flats Shinagawa Togoshi

DXYZ, a leading company in facial recognition technology, is thrilled to announce the implementation of its innovative facial recognition ID platform, FreeiD, at the new rental apartment complex Duo Flats Shinagawa Togoshi, developed by Hoosiers Asset Management. The apartment complex, scheduled for completion in August 2025, will consist of 13 floors and 23 rental units.

What is FreeiD?

FreeiD is a revolutionary facial recognition ID platform designed to connect daily living and working experiences seamlessly. By integrating various forms of identification, including wallets and IDs, into a single facial registration process, FreeiD enables users to access their homes, make payments, and verify their identities effortlessly – all through facial recognition. This transformative approach eliminates the need for carrying keys or wallets, creating a unique experience where "only your face connects you to the world."

The FreeiD platform is adaptable, allowing integration with various facial recognition AI technologies, making it possible to tailor solutions for diverse usage scenarios. In particular, the 'FreeiD Mansion' solution offers a groundbreaking concept of an "all-facial-recognition apartment complex," which eliminates the need for keys entirely. As of the end of May 2025, FreeiD has been integrated into 218 apartment buildings across Japan.

In addition to residential applications, FreeiD services have extended into offices, daycare centers, golf courses, and amusement parks, with ongoing pilot projects for facial recognition payments and collaborations with My Number Card services.
