The project integrates a newly established gas cogeneration system (CGS) within the redevelopment structure to ensure that waste heat generated during power production is utilized efficiently. This collaboration is projected to improve heat production efficiency by approximately 15%. The selected CGS is equipped with a blackout start feature, ensuring reliable power supply during outages and maintaining heat delivery from the New Plant. Furthermore, the interlinked operation of both plants enhances the stability of the entire district's heat supply, providing essential backup should either of the systems experience downtime.
2. Efficient Operations through AI and Remote Monitoring
TGES employs artificial intelligence to predict heat load based on weather data and operational records, facilitating optimal machine operation through the newly introduced Smart Energy Network Energy Management System (SENEMS). Utilizing Tokyo Gas's control and monitoring solution, JoyWatcherSuite, the company is developing a system for remote monitoring and inspection, ensuring operational efficiency is maximized through the integration of digital technologies and data utilization.
