TeamViewer's New AI Innovations Transforming IT Support and Endpoint Management

TeamViewer's Leap Forward in Autonomous IT Management

At the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit 2026 in London, TeamViewer made a significant announcement regarding their AI-driven Intelligent Agent, known as Tia. This innovation introduces automated scripting capabilities that stem from an organization's own resolved issues, paving the way for more efficient IT support and endpoint management processes.

Since its inception, Tia has produced over one million AI session summaries, which now serve as a foundation for creating automations that are not only practical but rooted in actual user experiences. This marks an important evolution in the realm of Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM), as it allows IT departments to standardize fixes that have already been proven effective in past scenarios.

Addressing Persistent IT Challenges

One of the critical challenges faced by IT teams is that while issues are often resolved, the solutions are seldom documented in a way that prevents recurrence. Tia aims to solve this problem by taking two key approaches. First, it leverages insights derived from real support sessions to inform its troubleshooting recommendations. This ensures that the remediation steps recommended are not generalities, but rather specific actions that have proven effective in prior incidents.

Once Tia identifies a resolved issue, it generates an automation script based on the documented steps taken to address it. IT teams can then review and refine these scripts before deploying them to specific devices or groups of devices. This form of automation allows for a faster resolution process and ensures that valuable knowledge is not lost, but instead used to bolster the organization's operational efficiency.

Building Towards AEM

TeamViewer continues to expand its vision for AEM in stages through its unified digital workplace platform, TeamViewer ONE. This platform integrates secure remote support, real-time endpoint observability, in-session AI expert assistance, and now, AI-driven automations firmly grounded in validated solutions. With every incident resolved, Tia learns, enabling a preventative approach to IT management. This capability allows the platform to identify recurring patterns and issues across the IT landscape, moving away from a reactive to a proactive management style.

“IT teams are increasingly pressured to maximize their resources, yet a substantial portion of their time is still dedicated to frequently resolving the same problems,” said Mei Dent, TeamViewer's Chief Product Technology Officer. “Tia’s new features transform every resolved incident into an asset, one that can be tested and deployed, ultimately shielding other devices from similar disruptions.” This insight reflects the fundamental nature of consistent and scalable IT operations, vital to achieving the goals of AEM.

Presenting Innovations at the Summit

At the Gartner Digital Workplace Summit, TeamViewer is not only showcasing Tia's new capabilities but is also engaging attendees with informative sessions such as “Building the Autonomous Workplace with a DEX Knowledge Layer” and “The Top 3 DEX Myths Sabotaging Your Digital Strategy.” Event-goers can discover further insights at TeamViewer's Expo Booth 207 and at the Engagement Zone located in the foyer on Level 1.
