Elevator Service, Inc. Expands Operations with New Acquisition in Detroit

Elevator Service, Inc. Expands Presence in Detroit Metro

In a significant move for the elevator services industry, Elevator Service, Inc. (ESI), parent company of City Elevator of Michigan, has announced the acquisition of Elevator Technology. This Detroit-based provider is well-regarded for its commitment to customer service, and this acquisition aims to strengthen ESI’s foothold in the Detroit metro area.

Wayne Bolen, the owner of Elevator Technology, has decided to retire after decades of dedicated service to the community. In a statement, Bolen expressed his desire to pass on his legacy to a company that prioritizes customer care and maintains the trust built with clients over the years. Choosing ESI was a strategic decision, reflecting a shared philosophy centered on reliability and service excellence.

Elevator Technology will now join forces with City Elevator of Michigan, ensuring customers will not experience any disruption in service. The transition is designed to be seamless, buoyed by ESI’s extensive resources and support infrastructure. Ryan Robinson, President of City Elevator, emphasized that this partnership is a natural extension of both companies’ commitments to technical excellence and enduring customer relationships. By integrating Elevator Technology's experienced team, they aim to enhance the overall service offerings available to their client's benefit.

Jason Vallee, CEO of Elevator Service, Inc., echoed Robinson's sentiments, clarifying that this acquisition represents more than mere growth.
