New Taste Sensation at Osaka Ohsho
Osaka Ohsho, based in Shinagawa, Tokyo, is set to delight customers with an exciting new addition to their menu. Starting from May 20, 2026, the esteemed gyoza specialist will be offering the limited-edition 'Ramton Jingis Rice' until June 30, 2026. This creative dish is a response to the overwhelming demand for a rice bowl option after the successful introduction of their 'Ramton Jingis Kahn' series last year, which featured expertly stir-fried lamb, pork, and a variety of vegetables. Customers loved the bold flavors and expressed a desire for a rice bowl format, prompting Osaka Ohsho to bring this beloved dish to life.
The 'Ramton Jingis Rice' consists of succulent lamb shoulder and pork head meat expertly stir-fried with a unique blend of Doubanjiang and a special Ramton sauce. For that extra kick, garlic and ramen pepper are added, intensifying the savory aroma. Textural contrasts are provided with crunchy cabbage and carrots, while a sunny-side-up egg serves as a delightful topping. The flavorful sweet and spicy sauce adheres perfectly to the rice, ensuring a fulfilling dining experience that promises satisfaction with every bite.
This new dish will be available in three different options: 120g of meat in the standard serving size, called 'Teiban Mori,' 170g in a larger portion known as 'Mori Mori,' and a no-rice version called 'Niku Dake Mori.'
