Cutting-Edge Markerless Motion Capture Technology
On June 3, 2026, Spice Inc., led by President Ryoichi Okada and based in Akasaka, Tokyo, introduced an innovative motion capture experience featuring two immersive demo contents. These showcases grant users an opportunity to fully understand and engage with the latest in motion capture technology, highlighting the advanced capabilities of MOVIN and Captury systems.
This latest technology focuses on markerless motion capture solutions, enabling seamless user experiences. The goal is to provide insight and foster interest in the applications of motion capture equipment that Spice offers. These immersive demo experiences will be showcased at the company's studio and at various upcoming exhibitions. Detailed information about the participating exhibitions will be shared at the end of this article, and we encourage attendees to visit the demo to witness these groundbreaking technologies firsthand.
SUPER POWER: Powered by OptiTrack and Captury
The first immersive demo experience, titled
SUPER POWER, utilizes the hybrid motion capture technology of
OptiTrack and
Captury. Participants will engage in a destruction content scenario wherein they can capture not just full-body movements, but also finger actions and object tracking features—showcasing the comprehensive capabilities of the product.
System Used: OptiTrack & Captury
In the integrated “Duplex Mode,” markerless full-body capture—including fingers—works in conjunction with marker-based object capturing. This dual functionality allows for high-precision tracking of multiple individuals and objects, significantly enhancing expressive potential.

MOVIN TRACIN Stage. This interactive art installation responds to the user's position and movements, creating a beautifully evolving world that transforms based on real-time interactions.
System Used: MOVIN TRACIN Stage
This latest system from MOVIN is designed for experience content and live performances, covering extensive areas with minimal sensor requirements. It captures the movements of multiple individuals, point clouds, and 3D positional data simultaneously.
The system also supports real-time streaming to applications like Notch, Unreal Engine, and Disguise, thereby significantly extending the possibilities for interactive performances. For more system details, visit
