Experience the Vibrant Kiaki Festival in Wakayama City on November 3rd

Kiaki Festival 2023

The Kiaki Festival, hosted by the Kiaki Festival Executive Committee, promises to be a grand celebration for the citizens of Wakayama City this year. Slated for November 3rd, this festival aims to attract more than 10,000 attendees, building upon last year's success, which welcomed around 8,000 visitors.

Event Schedule

  • - Pre-Festival Setup (November 2nd, Sunday):
The team will work from 4 PM to 8 PM, marking out parking spaces, preparing the venue for fireworks, and setting up tents. It’s crucial to create a safe and enjoyable space for all festival-goers.

  • - Main Festival Day (November 3rd, Monday):
From 9 AM to 8 PM, volunteers will be engaged in various activities like self-policing, supporting the participatory sports events, managing food stalls, assisting with registration, distributing pamphlets, and patrolling the area to ensure everything runs smoothly. This day is all about creating smiles and memorable moments for the attendees.

  • - Post-Festival Cleanup (November 4th, Tuesday):
Cleanup will occur from 9 AM to noon, focusing on tidying up the area and wrapping up the event. This essential task ensures that the festival's footprint is minimal and helps leave the venue as it was found.
