Estée's Cat Support Project Launches Its Fourth Year

Estée Co., Ltd. kicks off the fourth year of its "Cat Support Project," aimed at creating a society where all cats can live happily. This initiative, which began in April 2023, strives to address the growing social issue of abandoned pets in the wake of the increasing number of households owning pets. Many cats and dogs are found in shelters due to owners giving up their pets for various reasons. In response, Estée has donated its "Nyan Tofu Toilet" series and other cat care products to shelters across the country since the project’s inauguration.

Supporting Abandoned Cats

Over the years, the project has involved not only the donation of cat products but also campaigns that offer cat litter systems to new families adopting shelter cats. Estée engages directly with shelter organizations to seek further support measures and product development aimed at enhancing the well-being of these animals. In the fourth year, more initiatives are planned, including continued donations from the "Nyan Tofu Toilet" line and active participation in various cat adoption efforts.

Participation in Panasonic's Adoption Fair 2026

On April 18 and 19, 2026, Estée will participate in the "Panasonic Adoption Event for Dogs and Cats 2026," held at the Tokyo Ariake TFT Hall 500. This event, which first took place in 2022, marks the eighth iteration and Estée's third appearance. The focus will be on raising awareness about creating a comfortable litter environment for cats. The company will also distribute cat odor removal products to attendees.

Please note that access to the adoption corner requires prior reservation starting from March 12. However, there will be areas open for those without reservations.

This year’s event will also feature a photo exhibition titled "Everyone is a Dog, Everyone is a Cat," showcasing the happy lives of formerly sheltered animals now embraced by new families. Additionally, the event includes educational sessions led by veterinarians and animal welfare organizations, discussing responsibilities and preparations for potential pet owners.
