The Dream of OriginalSelf

At OriginalSelf LLC, we are still on our journey towards realizing our dreams. We wholeheartedly support the April Dream initiative, which encourages businesses to share their aspirations on April 1st. This press release embodies the dreams of OriginalSelf.

Meaning Behind the Name

The name "OriginalSelf" signifies "the true self." This name was chosen when the company was established in March 2024 because I wanted to prove that it’s possible to manage a business while remaining true to oneself. However, to be honest, I have yet to discover the answer to the question, "What is the true self?" I continue my quest, moving forward with the thought of what lies beyond overcoming current challenges.

A Blueprint for Dreams: The Articles of Incorporation

When establishing a company, one must outline the business purposes in the Articles of Incorporation. I wrote broadly, thinking I might need those details in the future. Upon reflection, I realized that there is not just a fallback plan inscribed but also a commitment to living freely and abundantly etched in those initial sentiments.

The pillars of our business include management consulting, AI and software support, human resources recruitment and training. Yet, even the Articles contain a wide range of potentialities, including M&A support, advertising agency, school management, production and sales of paintings and watercolors, and e-commerce for items like bath salts.

There are dreams that I haven’t even written down. I have considered the possibility of exploring co-working spaces. Some scribbled thoughts include, “Let’s try doing what we want first.” They don't have to be groundbreaking; just wanting to try something creates a unique excitement within me.

Not everything can be done right now, but dreams exist as a map, continuing to live somewhere.

The Sense of Contribution as a Starting Point

The sense of being able to "help someone and connect with society" has been essential in guiding my management approach, allowing me to ask my clients the same question: "What is it that you truly want to do?" Finding that answer together is at the heart of my work.

I have assisted over 40 small and medium-sized enterprises across the country with their management needs. My work covers various areas including AI implementation, web development, recruitment strategies, and sales support. What remains constant is my deep interest in bringing out each individual's inherent strengths.

Why do I play the role of a "right-hand man"? The answer is simple: when you affirm someone without rejecting them, there are moments when their expressions light up. Those moments are what I cherish the most.

Our Dream

We aim to create a space where everyone can bring their strengths together.

I am not capable of doing everything alone. Individuals skilled in AI and business improvement, those with expertise in recruitment, each have their "OriginalSelf" that they can contribute. Our goal is to create a structure that allows these strengths to unite and address the challenges faced by small and medium enterprises.

Starting steadily from where we can, we aim to move forward together, creating a space for mutual growth while leveraging each other's strengths. That is the dream we are currently pursuing.

A Father's Inspiration and Stories of Colors and the Moon

My father has always been an artist, and while he was once a business owner, I didn’t understand the meaning of his presence during my student years. It wasn't until I became an entrepreneur myself that I began to comprehend the significance of his journey.

One day, I learned that he painted a watercolor for a friend as a gift. I posted it online and set a price, leading to my first venture. When I sold my previous business through M&A, I retained the watercolor production, wanting to carry forward my father's dream with me.

My father is currently recuperating after surgery. The day he recovers, I plan to launch a watercolor-themed apparel brand using his artwork as the brand's mark. The vision includes high-quality t-shirts with icons of his watercolors that won’t fade after multiple washes, aiming to integrate his art into daily life and share his colors with the world.

Interestingly, I previously made a t-shirt featuring a gorilla he painted. It was a small experiment, but it marked the inception of this dream. Ideally, I hope to gather people willing to support this venture through crowdfunding.

Colors can reach places where words cannot.

Additionally, on a personal note, I’ve purchased an unusual dream: a certificate for a piece of land on the moon. One day, I wish to stand on my own two feet there—an absurd yet genuine dream of mine.
