The announcement was celebrated during a groundbreaking ceremony attended by key figures such as John Pagano, the Managing Director of UDC, and Abeer AlAkel, CEO of the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), along with other distinguished guests from various sectors. The name 'NUMAJ' is derived from the star system Nu Ursae Majoris, a celestial guide that has historically held significance for travelers navigating through AlUla. This namesake reflects a deeper narrative within the design concept, which aims to connect guests to the land through themes of discovery and light.
