JR East's Exciting New Collaboration

JR East has announced an exciting partnership with New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and STARDOM, rekindling last year's successful collaboration. This new project, part of the Oshi Tabit campaign, promises to bring fans unique wrestling content on the Tōkaidō Shinkansen from December 1, 2025, to February 28, 2026.

Special On-Board Experiences

During this period, passengers aboard the Tōkaidō Shinkansen will have exclusive access to a variety of premium content directly from the train. The collaboration aims to enhance the travel experience while celebrating the world of pro-wrestling. This year's offering includes not only engaging talks from famous wrestlers but also interactive games and audio experiences that promise to be memorable.

Unpacking the Collaboration

The collaboration kicks off with a special talk show: What Does Challenge Mean? featuring Hiroshi Tanahashi, a prominent figure in NJPW, and Wolf Aburaguchi, who will engage in a compelling discussion that underscores their contrasting paths—one on the verge of retirement and the other at the beginning of his journey. This two-part series will allow fans to dive into the experiences and thoughts of these wrestling icons and is a must-see for any wrestling fan.

The first part will air from December 1, 2025, until January 16, 2026, followed by the concluding part from January 17, 2026, to February 28, 2026.

Additionally, there will be a thrilling escape room experience titled Escape the TRAIN OF TORTURE. Transformed into a nerve-wracking adventure, the normal Shinkansen ride will become a mystery-filled journey, challenging passengers to decipher clues and escape the HOUSE OF TORTURE—an adventure not for the faint-hearted.

STARDOM Takes Center Stage

Continuing the excitement, STARDOM will also participate in this collaboration with engaging content for fans. Travelers will be able to experience a unique talk game called Let’s Travel Together with Candy Kid and AZM. This interactive game features exclusive photos and voice recordings from the two wrestlers, providing a glimpse into their personalities. However, the game has a twist; answering questions incorrectly may lead to game elimination. Only the ultimate fans will reach the game's thrilling conclusion.

Alongside this, fans can enjoy a no-holds-barred talk show featuring Sayaka and Sakura, revealing their candid exchanges, airing in two installments similar to the NJPW program.

Moreover, an immersive audio experience called H.A.T.E. THE OTHER SIDE 2, featuring six popular STARDOM wrestlers, promises to deliver a realistic auditory experience as if they are right next to you. This innovative approach aims to deepen the connection fans have with their favorite wrestlers.

Exclusive Souvenirs

To further enhance the experience, all participants will receive an exclusive acrylic keychain designed to look like a train ticket. These collectibles, featuring characters from both NJPW and STARDOM, will be given to fans who engage with the collaboration content during their trip. To claim this special souvenir, passengers will need to follow a specific process, ensuring a seamless exchange at Animate Akihabara until February 28, 2026.
