LiuGong Showcases Advanced Electric Machines at CONEXPO 2026

LiuGong, the renowned construction equipment manufacturer, made a significant mark at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, unveiling a total of 13 machines across various product lines. This year’s theme, "Tough Customers. Tough Equipment," highlights the company’s commitment to innovative and effective solutions for demanding construction environments.

Among the standout displays were the zero-emission 922FE excavator and the electric wheeled loaders, 870HE and 820TE. These machines exemplify LiuGong's expanding electric product line tailored for the US market. They promise a reduction in operational costs by over 40%. This improvement is largely due to fewer wear parts, minimized fluids and filters, and simplified maintenance requirements. Furthermore, their quiet operation and instant torque make them particularly suitable for urban construction, demolition projects, and public sector initiatives where emissions are a concern.

LiuGong’s electric equipment is currently making waves in more than 60 countries, with cumulative sales surpassing 60,000 units. This broad acceptance underscores the global shift toward electric machinery in construction.

In addition to electric solutions, LiuGong also showcased its diesel equipment, which is built for high-output applications. Highlights included the 952F excavator and the 856T wheeled loader, both equipped with Tier 4 Final / Stage V Cummins engines. Designed for quarries, mines, and large-scale infrastructure projects, these machines emphasize durability and continuous operation even in challenging and remote environments.

Precision equipment was also on display, emphasizing the company's capabilities in leveling and compaction applications with the presentation of the 4215D grader and the 6608F roller. The advanced leveling accuracy and integrated compaction technologies reflect LiuGong's efforts to help customers reduce material removal tasks, pavement replacements, and crew remobilization, ultimately assisting them in keeping to project timelines while controlling operational costs.

To further enhance its product coverage, LiuGong introduced the TD16N dozer, expanding its offerings in key earthmoving categories. The standardized telematics and diagnostic systems offer consistent monitoring and support across various machine types, streamlining fleet management and after-sales operations.

Customer Engagement at the Show

Alongside equipment displays, LiuGong organized its on-site podcast series, "Tough Customer Talk," located at booth F18033. Here, customers and dealers shared personal experiences and insights regarding LiuGong equipment performance and reliability. According to Andrew Ryan, President of LiuGong North America, “Demanding customers don’t have time to waste dealing with complexity. They need a partner they can count on for the entire job, from the first scoop of dirt to the final invoice.” LiuGong aims to provide customers with durable and efficient equipment backed by a unified service network.

Building Value Through Collaboration

Before the CONEXPO event, LiuGong North America hosted a two-day conference for dealers, gathering local partners to discuss industry trends and future growth strategies. This convening allowed dealers to share successful business practices, further strengthening partnerships and laying a solid foundation for ongoing market expansion.

On March 4, LiuGong and Cummins celebrated a remarkable 30 years of global cooperation. To date, over 300,000 LiuGong machines worldwide have been equipped with Cummins engines. Guangxi Cummins has produced over 300,000 engines since its inception, reflecting the strength of this longstanding partnership.

Commitment to the US Market

During a press conference on March 2, attended by nearly 50 leading companies and media, Li Dongchun, Vice President of LiuGong, alongside other company executives, unveiled the latest strategies and addressed press inquiries regarding industry trends and future development plans. With an expanded portfolio and a strong customer focus, LiuGong reaffirms its long-term commitment to the local market. The company is set to enhance its offerings continually to adapt to the evolving needs of job sites, providing proven and comprehensive solutions for a wide range of applications.
