The Biban Forum 2025 is set to take Riyadh by storm as it prepares for the third consecutive hosting of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) Global Finals. This awaited annual event not only aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within Saudi Arabia but also draws in talent from around the globe. With projections of over 140,000 attendees, 1,000 exhibitors, and 22 keynote speakers, this year’s forum promises a vibrant networking atmosphere for entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers.

A Platform for Growth

The Biban Forum stands as a leading platform promoting entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and collaboration. It serves as an assembly point for ambitious minds looking to exchange ideas and seek collaboration opportunities. In 2025, the forum aims to facilitate significant growth through inspirational sessions, hands-on workshops, and presentations that aim to empower startups and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in their quest for local and global expansion.

The event is backed by the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (MISK) and the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), establishing the EWC as the largest startup competition in the world. Since its inception, it has attracted approximately 420,000 entrepreneurs from 191 nations.

Record Participation

This year's competition witnessed unprecedented interest! Over 10,300 startups from 169 countries across 16 sectors participated, more than double last year’s applicants. The competition celebrates the world’s top 100 startups, with these entrepreneurs gathering in Riyadh to pitch their innovative ideas and compete for more than $1.5 million in cash prizes. Alongside the financial incentives, participants will benefit from collaborations with 64 global partners, enabling access to invaluable strategic partnerships and investment opportunities.

Driving Innovation Forward

Since its foundation, Biban has sought to ignite innovation and empower entrepreneurs to turn bold ideas into reality. Hosting the EWC Global Finals signifies an ongoing mission to champion both Saudi and international entrepreneurship while reinforcing Riyadh's position as a hub for startups and scaleups.

Saud Al-Sabhan, Deputy Governor for Entrepreneurship at Monsha'at, stated, “The previous editions of the EWC have witnessed founders securing investments, expanding globally, and launching impactful solutions. Our programs and partnerships have facilitated transformative ideas into tangible businesses, and we are committed to supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs in surpassing previous limits.”

Commitment to Economic Growth

Aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, Biban 2025 emphasizes Monsha'at's commitment to nurturing a vibrant ecosystem for SMEs and startups, driving job creation, and facilitating sustainable economic growth throughout Saudi Arabia.

In conclusion, as the Biban Forum 2025 gears up to embrace the spirit of entrepreneurship, it stands as a testament to the thriving startup culture emerging from Riyadh and beyond. This vibrant event will undoubtedly continue to motivate and shape the future of global entrepreneurship.
