This special occasion was marked by a press conference on July 11, 2025, where Coronya presented brand new merchandise and reflected on its accomplishments over the past year.

Coronya’s Reflective Journey as a Spokesperson

The press conference kicked off with Coronya, who appeared a bit nervous yet eager to share its thoughts. This was a historic event as it marked the first press conference for San-X. During the session, Coronya looked back on its journey, stating, “This past year has been incredible! I've had a chance to engage with numerous media outlets, featuring in TV shows and fashion magazines. Believe it or not, I attended 22 events across the country!”

When asked about its aspirations for the upcoming year, Coronya affirmed, “I want everyone to know more about San-X through my involvement. I aim to convey event experiences clearly, hold more press conferences, and take on exciting challenges! I appreciate all your support!”

Exciting New Products Unveiled

As part of the press conference, Coronya introduced new products celebrating its two-year anniversary as a spokesperson. Initially, Coronya was set to present the items personally, but due to nerves, a senior member stepped in for the reveal.

Among the newly announced products were the customizable name card case, a multi-flip cover, and an employee-ID-style acrylic keychain, all featuring the adorable Coronya design. “Each of these items is splendid! I hope everyone can grab one!” Coronya exclaimed enthusiastically.

The conference included an interactive Q&A section where chosen attendees could pose questions to Coronya. When asked about assisting its owner at a local bakery, Coronya revealed, “I still lend a hand at the bakery when my owner is away, sneaking off to perform my duties at San-X!” It playfully urged the audience to keep this a secret. In response to concerns about being shy, Coronya admitted, “I was very nervous, but your support truly helps me strive harder!”

Upcoming Film and Animation Reveals

Towards the conclusion of the press conference, exciting movie news was shared. The fourth installment of the “Sumikko Gurashi” film series is set to release on October 31, 2025. This beloved movie series has captured the hearts of over three million viewers since its inception in 2019. Fans were thrilled to learn of the cast, including popular voice actors, and that the film will introduce new characters, including a prince!

In addition, a teaser for the upcoming “Rilakkuma” anime by Production I.G was screened, showcasing the beloved character on whimsical adventures. The enchanting song “Stay with Me” by lyricist Ikuta Lila will feature as the theme tune. Attendees were captivated by the animation filled with charming interactions among familiar characters.
