Discover the Kanda Curry Street Stamp Rally 2025
Kanda, renowned as Japan's largest curry district, is preparing for an exciting culinary event this summer. The Kanda Curry Street Activation Committee, chaired by Takuya Nakamata, will launch the
Kanda Curry Street Stamp Rally 2025 on
August 1, 2025, running until
December 20, 2025. This is the twelfth installment of the popular annual event that aims to revitalize the local community while celebrating the diverse range of curries available in the area.
With over
400 curry establishments lining the streets of Kanda, participants are invited to indulge in a wide variety of curry dishes, ranging from long-standing favorites to the latest innovations in curry cuisine. The event is designed not only to promote the unique flavors of Kanda but also to foster positive interactions among residents and visitors, creating a vibrant atmosphere that benefits local restaurants and businesses.
How to Participate
Starting in late July, participants can pick up the
Kanda Curry Street Official Guidebook 2025, which will be published in
85,000 copies and distributed for free. This guidebook will help curry enthusiasts navigate the event, listing all participating shops where they can enjoy delicious curry dishes. Participants will need to collect stamps either through a downloadable stamp sheet or a mobile stamp rally app available on the Kanda Curry Grand Prix official website.
This year, a record
151 curry shops will participate in the stamp rally, offering an unprecedented selection of curry styles and flavors. In addition to curry shops, several notable locations in Kanda and Jimbocho, including two historic bookstores, will also act as stamp points. By collecting stamps from a combination of curry shops and stamp points, participants can qualify for the esteemed
Kanda Curry Meister Award, with different grades awarded based on the number of stamps collected.
Exciting Collaborations
Continuing from last year, the event will feature special collaborations, including the
Chiyoda Tourist Association's tourism ambassador, Rilakkuma, alongside the
50th anniversary of the Super Sentai series. Visitors who enjoy a curry meal at participating shops will receive limited-edition
Super Sentai Collaboration Cards (54 types available), while those who collect stamps from ten shops can claim the
Kanda Curry Buddy Award, which includes a Rilakkuma-designed buddy card. Furthermore, participants collecting the required number of stamps can earn the exclusive Rilakkuma-designed Kanda Curry Meister Card, featuring unique designs depending on the grade achieved.
During the event period, participants can also find original collaboration merchandise from the
Kanda Curry Grand Prix and
Super Sentai Series at two bookstores in Jimbocho, providing even more to enjoy for fans of all ages.
