On February 18 and 19, 2026, the stunning Akasaka Intercity AIR will host the much-anticipated Furusato Marche 2026. This event, organized by Nippon Steel Kowa Real Estate Co., Ltd., promises to be a culinary journey that showcases the diverse flavors and traditional products from all corners of Japan.

Event Details

The event will be held from 11:00 AM until supplies last for gourmet offerings, and until 7:00 PM for market items. Visitors can explore the B1F AIR Plaza, the South Sunken Garden, and the 1F Entrance Hall of the Akasaka Intercity AIR.

The event is co-hosted by NTT Docomo, and has the support of the Minato City Government, with contributions from Green Power Investment Co., Ltd. and Akasaka Intercity Management Co., Ltd. The market will feature a variety of specialty products from various prefectures across Japan, thus serving as a crucial platform for local producers.

A Rich Tradition

The 2026 Furusato Marche is an evolution of the “Tohoku Reconstruction Michinoku Marche,” which started in 2019. It gathers the essence of Japan's rich cultural heritage and culinary traditions—from Hokkaido in the north to Kagoshima in the south. Notably, the event also emphasizes recovery and resilience following the Noto Peninsula earthquake, with NTT Docomo North Hokuriku supporting the “Wajima Morning Market” to showcase the fresh and flavorful produce of the region.
