In a significant leap toward global market expansion, 01Booster, based in Tokyo, has selected eight innovative startups for the Ryukyu Launchpad 2025 program. This initiative, in collaboration with LaunchStarz Inc. from the U.S., is designed to support Japanese startups seeking to expand operations into Asia and the United States.

Launched in May, the initiative received numerous applications and underwent rigorous evaluations, ultimately selecting the following eight groundbreaking companies:

1. Vyorius Japan (United States)


Vyorius Japan has developed an AI platform tailored for drone manufacturers and operators. This platform is designed to function independently of hardware, allowing for a reduction in operational costs by up to 83% while maintaining real-time mission control across mixed fleets.

2. Sage-Sentinel Smart Solutions (United States)


This startup utilizes patented technology to predict falls among the elderly up to five seconds in advance. Their wearable devices prevent falls in real-time, enhancing safety and independence for seniors with actionable insights provided via an AI dashboard.

3. Lilz (United States)


Lilz is revolutionizing the maintenance industry by employing IoT and AI for innovative solutions. Their flagship services, LiLz Gauge and LiLz Guard, facilitate remote visual inspections, improving both efficiency and safety in industrial environments.

4. NexCulture (United States)


The company aims to streamline cellular culture workflows with an end-to-end digital platform. They integrate IoT automation, AI image analysis, and RFID traceability to provide real-time insights and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.

5. EF Polymer (South Korea)


This deep-tech startup transforms orange peels into a 100% organic superabsorbent polymer (SAP). Their eco-friendly solution aims to reduce water and fertilizer usage in agriculture while increasing crop yields, and they are also exploring applications in cosmetics and personal care.

6. Japan Drone Corporation (Vietnam)


As one of the largest UAV pilot training institutions in Japan with over 70 schools nationwide, they offer services including aerial photography, surveying, logistics, and disaster support.

7. Tupac Bio Japan (Genomeminer.ai in Singapore)


This company has developed a turnkey solution that automates genomic analysis in the cloud, streamlining complex pipelines and creating AI models that adapt to new data.

8. Strout (Indonesia)


Strout has developed the “Sakana Edge,” an aquaculture technique that utilizes local underused assets. By combining the latest AI technology with aquaculture management expertise, they have established a reliable and efficient management system.

Program Timeline and Activities


The selected startups will receive hands-on support from local partners across five countries—U.S., South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia—between mid-August and mid-November. This will include mentoring and participation in local programs to accelerate their business growth.

Future Schedule


Following the regional support period, a Demo Day will be hosted on February 5 in Okinawa, coinciding with the Asia Newtravel Bootcamp 2026 conference taking place from February 5-6 in Naha.
